Temporary Pause on the Blog

I’ve experienced a lot of new things this year as a solo-preneur; New partners in distribution and licensing, and an immense increase in wholesale orders.

While this is amazing, I haven’t been managing the additional workload well which had led me to experience burn out.

Irritability, extreme fatigue, lack of focus, and the inability to manage emotions, handle chores, and generally enjoy my personal life are symptoms that I’ve been flooded with as of late.

So with that, I started taking a step back. Only focusing on necessities rather than pushing for growth.

During this time, I have been able to process all the things I had been feeling but never gave myself the chance to process. I am also seeing just how much I’m doing that is unessential or does not align with my passions / goals.

After some review, I’ve decided to significantly reduce tasks that consume a large investment of time and/or energy. Blog posts and social media posts are two of those tasks.

Given the time it takes to write, edit, create imagery for, and share, I have decided to temporarily pause blog posts and reduce the time I spend and post on social media.

While I love sharing and connecting, I must find a way to balance that effort better. Even find a more creative way of doing it!

This means I have to abandon some of the goals I had been working toward in those arenas.

But, for the sake of my sanity, I must let some things go. For now.

This isn’t to say I’ll never return to those things. I’m simply removing the “pressure to perform” there for now so I can focus on doing better elsewhere in my business - and personal life.
